While playing today I've heard a couple of short sound files play that I've never heard..or noticed ... before in the umpteen hundred hours I've been playing this game.
The first was the Town Crier by the Hatmandor Gate, who suddenly came out with "Eikronas Awaits" as I went past.
The second was the Green Robed Preacher in front of the Hatmandor Temple who finished up his daily diatribe with "Eikronas is open to the imagination."
Methinks the Devs are taking the Piss!!!!

I dunno, my first thought is that its a way of maintaining the momentum of the various discussions about Eikronas, all that debate prompts interest, and is like a form of free advertising. On the other hand I would HOPE it's a portent of DLC's to come.
i'm on the ps3 version, and i caught the preacher saying something like "Eikronas is open to the imagination.", so i don't think it's new.
only barely caught it, but i thought he said "immigration".
definitely the same npc though.
Hahahaha lol good one! But is it a piss, or perhaps a sign of a DLC to come?
This right here. I swear, seems like I have been waiting forever for this game. I could order an import copy from Go Gamer, but I am just going to stick it out for another month with my Gamestop pre-order.
i think there are alot of jokes here with the dialog that hopefully points to things they will implement in the future.
the town crier in new ashos mentions a storm coming.
also there's a villager in tir gael that talks as if it's currently raining, and then later on is excited the rain has stopped.
it certainly seems as if weather were meant to be in the game.

Reason: muchos typos
Isn't that guy in tir gael a bit 'out of his mind'? At least that's what I thought since it hadn't rain in a year (savana, that gravedigger and the scribe say it) :s

Definetly, there are already lots of console commands dealing with rain and weather in general. Must be a very nasty bug that keeps the devs from activating it.

probably, most random npcs in this game out of there minds
does make me think how cool the swamps would be if it was raining the whole time until it's "solved".
the savannah should have wholely different weather patterns
quick thought:
ch 1 : drought/desert
ch 2 : temperate/tropical (should rain occaisionally, mention of storm coming!)
wasteland/"swallows" (should be raining or atleast alot of lightning and thunder.)
ch 3 : high humidity/swamp (should rain perpetually)
ch 4 : "swallows" pt 2? (it's obviously supposed to be raining, water can be seen coming into castle vahkmaar, and dungeons in the area.)
...man i hope this game continues to get love!
