[Solved] Two Worlds II Crashing on startup

Hey gang,

Trying to play on my laptop, when I start the game, the Two worlds II splash screen displays, and the red progress bar fills, then the game crashes to desktop with a "program has stopped working" error, it seems to occur a split second after the "Topware Interactive" video starts to play.

I've tried updating physX and sound/graphics drivers. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated:

Stats:
Intel Core i7 Q720 CPU
8GB of Ram
ATI Mobility Radeon HD4650
Creative X-Fi HD Audio
Windows 7 - 64 bit OS

The damn thing runs just fine on my desktop, which ain't quite so potent.

Could it be your laptop was already running up on heat? If you started him up first time this day that shouldn't be a problem but if you have been working on him it could be.
I also read that the gameworld was loaded entirely from the beginning? Maybe that causes your laptop to build up heat rather quickly.
Just a problem I'm having with games on the laptop (no game-laptop like yours, just a basic)

Heat is a-ok. It's very well ventilated, and runs pretty cool, even when I'm knee deep in a "Risen" session.

Try to use the AMD/Ati Catalyst 10.9. I've had the same problem using the Catylst 10.10!
