ZuxxeZ Entertainment AG, are proud to announce that Two Worlds II has now gone Gold and the production of the game will start bright and early on Monday.
But this means, that the game will now appear in Europe at a later date, November 9th this ensures that they have enough time to get the game across to Europe after "High Pre-order figures"...

I'm a horrible person for liking this news but it makes the wait for me (until January) a little bit more tolerable knowing that the gap between South Peak and Zuxxez releases has become slightly shorter.

yes you are a horrible person, just kidding. They didn't anticipate so many people importing so they have to make a bunch more for those that want to stick it to Southpeak, like me.
I understand that they may have to make additional copies if there are more people importing but I don't understand why it affects those that ordered imported copies first. Is there some rule that all copies must go out on the same day? What if more continue to place imported orders. Does that mean that there will be an additional delay?

Its not retarted. Think if you would be the one producing copies of TW2, and you would have to delay.... I have Cities XL 2011 coming soon and fallout nw.
obviously they are getting enough pre-orders that it doesn't matter who it is going up against. And TW2 is mulitplatform release, all 3 three systems, day one, I believe they can make more sales than Fable 3.

Clearly, if the game release date is being pushed back because they have too many orders, then getting too few orders is not one of their concerns.

My thoughts exactly. But we don't know the situation in US.
And the UK, I'm in the same boat as you yanks on this one for reasons I've yet to find adequate.
I doubt the situation will be that different in the US, if anything the pre-order numbers should be just as huge. If so perhaps we'll see some word from South Peak in the coming weeks, I'm not holding my breath on it but there's always a chance.

I thought I'd better point out that to Australia and England, everyone from the USA are yanks, not just those from the Union.
Even so, the very concept term of yankee has become a stereotype in itself. Just like Goth, emo, redneck, or even something as higher up as politician. Everyone believes they're all just the same based on the stereotype thrust on them. A yank no longer means the same thing to the common man as it did almost some two-hundred years ago give or take.
