Dual Core CPU question

So, from the dev diary you can read that game will be using advantage of dual core processors. I wanted to confirm if anyone here knows, heard any rumors or strong facts that its true or not.

I am still deciding which version to buy either Xbox 360 or PC.

So far I am leaning towards PC, and if dual-core CPU support is true then it will make my decision.

Thanks,

Oki..

I have played this game for many weeks now, - AND I have DualCore (E6600)

It is very good flow in gameplay on my rig, and I think it is better than many other games in that area. (this game has a nasty habbit of "hugging" once in a vile, but what game doesnt?)

If it can make you happy, I think this game is good in the way you want with this thread-question..

I would have chosen PC before XBox, just becouse of the graphics here.

Re: Dual Core CPU question

Graphics seem to be better on Xbox 360 screenshots... it could be just an impression from screenies of course.

Many weeks you say, so how do you like it so far? Can you give it brief overview, like what you really like, what you like after that, what you think would have been better?

Do you have any information on upcoming expansions maybe? And why for example I should play Two Worlds instead of Oblivion?

Thanks,

Re: Dual Core CPU question

The day XBox is exeeding a good PC in graphics is not yet here, methinks..

Ok, firstly: I really like TW bevouse of all this diversity in quests it ha - and so many of them! - its like I have to think in some of them to get it done..

The other thing about TW is details: This game has MUTCH more details in every corner of this "world" than Oblivion can dream of..

Third: This is one really BIG gameworld to play in. Oblivion is just a stamp in comparison..

Oki, - then nehgative thins: I do not like the combat in TW. It is to mutch "clicking".

But hey - one thing on the downside is not so bad..

( about expansions: Let the game get an release in UK\US first. Agree?)

Two World is a really good game now, - with the 1.5 patch. Enjoy!

Re: Dual Core CPU question

Too much clicking to activate your abilities or to control the fight? Can you like bind some actions to the keys on the keyboard? Or maybe if someone has it/tried for Xbox 360, how combat is on the controller? Same too much button pressing?

So what kind of combat it is? Is it like you stand in front of the mob and you have to press a mouse button in order to hit, or there is "auto-attack" mode and you just press buttons to do abilities like in MMORPGs?

Thanks,
I've just finished upgrading to the E6850, gigabyte 8800 gtx, 2gb DUAL CHANNEL DDR2-1066 and all I'm getting is 5 FPS... today I've researched setting core affinity as well as a hotfix for WINXP SP 2 and one registry tweak.

My previous system was running a 2.4 GHZ Athlon, with 1GB DUAL CHANNEL DDR2-400 and a 7600 GT and with a few TWCP and ini tweaks I was running around 25 - 30 fps so I'm a little bummed that my new rig isn't pulling it's weight.

However other games like World in Conflict and Ranbow Six: Vegas have had a dramatic performance improvement. Any tips and help would be appreciated. I have no web connection at home but will check back here tomorrow. TIA.
