Dragon age series

My post currently is concerning the Dragon age Series. Dragon age: Origins- Dragon age 2. I wanted to ask people what they thought about how the series has progressed. It had went from fighting the blight, to an issue between polotics of Mages and Templars and now what I am told that now it will be a battle between the mages and templars. The history of Dragon age showes us that the blights are the key to man's redemption and I was hoping that Dragon age 3 would not finalize the series. What do you think about the Dragon age series? Do you feel its progression is going into a strange direction? Or do you think it is a good path it follows?
