Lightbulb Off-topic game: 5 post stories

This game has no purpose, other than to waste time. Here it is

By a series of 5 posts, 5 users will make a short story. No user may post more than once in a story, and the 5th person to post is expected to sum up the entire story. In order of number of posts:
1st: Set the setting. For example: "Once upon a time, in a dark forest..."

2nd: Set the character and a small devolpment. "...a young boy named Mark was collecting berries.

3rd: Make some sort of problem. "He tried some of the berries, and immediately started groaning. They were poisonous!"

4th: Come up with either a solution or development. "Thankfully, an elf medic was nearby and cured him." -or- "The pain grew so unbearable that he saw stars, and fell to his knees."

5th: Give an ending: "Thanking the elf, Mark ran back home and never again picked berries." -or- "Eventually, Mark lost the will to live. Cursing his luck, he fell over dead."

Make it simple, but as descriptive as possible Make the story flow, so when the 5th person puts it together it actual sounds... adequate. Don't contradict anyone who posts earlier in the story. For example, "Once, in a forgotten village..." "...the town leader decided to take a walk to the nearby city." In other words, if they say the story is in the village, keep it in the village. Have fun!

SLAM YOUR FACE ON THE KEYBOARD: About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him-and I didn't know how potent that part might be-that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

Doesn't have to be anything groundbreaking
