<p align="justify">Reality Pump has programmed a new engine for Two Worlds. Their well known engine named "Earth Engine" could not be used due to RTS-limitations for an RPG Game.

In fact, the new engine is using all the new technology buzzwords: It will make use of PixelShader 2.0 und 3.0, High Dynamic Range Rendering und realistic looking shadows.

All that features have their price, which will be payed with high requirements to the hardware. The exact requirement are not known, yet.

<p align="justify">A few details about the engine:

<b>Pixelshader</b>
Your GPU should have the ability to run Shader version 2. The engine makes use of Shader version 3, if the GPU has this feature. Shader version 1 will not be supported, we actually don't know if the engine will emulate Shader 2 on older cards.

<b>Optimierungen</b>
Two Worlds will be optimized for MMX- and 3DNow-Commandsets, which are included in all modern cpu's. Also, Two Worlds can use SSE and profit from Multicore CPUs, SLI and CrossFire Technology.

<b>Cursor</b>
Two Worlds offers a hardware cursor which will not lag on slow systems

<b>Sound</b>
Sound is beeing used with the free compressionsystem named OGG Vorbis. Compared to MP3, OGG Vorbis has a better quality with smaller filesizes

<b>Operating System</b>
Two Worlds is a pure Windows Game. Owner of Linux can only hope for a new version of Cedega oder Wine hoffen, there will be no native port for Linux. Also, a client for Mac OS or other Operating Systems will not be available.</p>
